Gamification of Education

Knewton published an iconographic below with some interesting statistics about gaming. They highlighted key elements of gaming that should be leveraged for educational games. At the very end, they included a time line of game use in education. You'll see a very interesting progression from Carmen SanDiego to MineCraft.
